Hey guys, any body got any thoughts on axle type,whether stock steering will work,any hints on installation? I think I would like to bolt spring hangars to frame, and use stock spindles and drums at least for now. thanks in advance,Larry
The stock drums on the Vette are the same as the 49-53 Chevy which some local guys use on 55-59 Chevy truck straght axles. There is a guy in Houma used this before on his 57 Chevy car.
The hole front clip & box is same as the '49-'53 Chevy car. You won't want to use the stock box. Better off sub framing the front with 2x3 and build fron there............... JMO
