Hi need help on my metro mite this site is alsome i pulled my drums off finely with the help thanks!!! now i see my rear outer seals are felt and is pretty much gone parts stores are showing a metal and rubber styl one is that a upgrade or wrong part ?? hey i'm almost moble this is driving me nutsssssss tahnks!!
The "felt" is actually leather,(maybe that's where Chicago Rawhide comes from)if you can -- sizing up seals can also be done measuring id & od & thickness -- this is in addition to cross/ref the part number stamped on the seal that you removed
Do a bit of measuring, if they check out by demensions go for it. I can give you some old National seal #s if you give me the rear axle code ie "RA 2, RA 19" etc.
