    Yep, that's a Big Bird.

Well done for giving love to the car and the 430 engine!

Square bird with the true race engine the 430 MEL you have my respect. My 60 bird only has an want a bee race engine the 428 FE med rise with the engine moved back about 7" and it handled like a slot car before i decided to go full kustom on it.

Hmmmm. I wonder who has done that? I hope to have it painted by the end of summer. Right...

Nice Squarebird, hope the 460 is better on gas than the 390 I built and put in mine. I used a 61 390 out of a Thunderbird, 10.5 to 1, mild cam, Petronics, 650 Edlebrock and only get 12 mpg. I lowered mine, nosed and decked, added extra teeth to the grill, chrome wheels and narrow whites, also have a set of TorqueThrusts. Really like the Squarebirds, a friend had one in the late sixties and always wanted one.

It was a lot of work since I did not know the spears were sunk into the doors. i just bolted them on. I am thinking od removing them next winter. they do not fit correctly.

Nice looking T-Bird! I have air shocks on mine to help the stance , the heavy 430 engine lowered the front, although Ford put the same springs in the 352 with A/C as they did in the 430 cars, so I have the 430 front springs as it was a 352 -A/C car.
