History 1960s Engine Parts - what brand is this?

Hi folks,

I have a set of NOS Chevy V8 solid lifters that came in a box with an interesting logo. These are identical to GM part number 5231585 (the number is even hand written on the box) but I assume they were repackaged and sold as “M840.” Anyone know what brand used the cowboy with the “LAW” holster? Thanks!
