With it being an exhibition car I doubt you need reverse unless your going to the store in it. :p:D

  2. This setup was not for fuel injection, but for carbs. The filter is an aircraft unit sold by speedshops as a high performance unit in the 50s and 60s. The pressure pump is to pump up pressure in the tank to push fuel into the carbs. The shutoff is to keep the carbs from flooding when the motor isn't running.

wow never seen one mounted that close,,though its recommend for the filter to be as close to the tank as possible

  7. Trust me, you can run it. All I had to do on my Topolino was new harnesses and a coolant catch can. Plus I joined the Midwest Gassers. My tank is a Tapper, and hold 3 gallons. I run it at Da'Grove. Hunnert Car Heads-up May 8th, get going so I can run ya!

They said it Did NOT have a grill shell, no radiator mounts on it that I seen either. So not sure what to think?

    It was RED!

Didn't get the hilborn intake, was the same as the one I have, rebuilt and ready to use.

Need info on that MAN-A-FE injection and pics?

I've never seen or heard of it?

    WE STILL NEED PICS!

And great job on info, may have pics soon. THANKS 33 ply 440!!!!!!!!

I see it has a hand made square tank (overflow) with a short hose going to tank and the other end has a brass tube off the overflow, like under a radiator cap, still stuck in it? Hose is to short to reach a rad. or intake?

    Don't see any radiator mounts.

Maybe had some sort of tank, for water, But no mounts I can see.

I talked with Aggie and Bob (Henry). Henry said it was owned by four guys and the B/comp car never raced with the blower on it. He said they ran it with a MAN-A-FRE inject as seen in pit, picture. They ran a 283, .060 over, 12.5 compression and 3/4 (Dencroft, help me on this) camshaft? Did say the the car was red when they bought it. Then in was painted metal flake teal in Iowa, by a guy named Skeet. Henry said that it had a '57 Olds rear, 1st & revease was takin out of the tranny. Oh and the little girl in the picture is their daughter. Now they are watching this thread with us so, I'd like to thank them so much for their time.
