  8. Why do I find the coolest shit at two in the fuckin morning? How did I miss this? This is my favorite year Caddy. I have only skimmed the 29 pages, I don't see what you are doing with the windshield, is it described in here somewhere? I would have never thought a chop would look good on this model car, but with the other mods, fins, etc., the proportions are right on. Will the decklid be modified to mimic the profile of the "ass grille"? Really looking forward to this one, you are doing a jam up job.

HAHAHA!!! That cracked me up Lawrence!!!:D

    Hey thanx man!!!

The windshield is pretty damn simple it only needs 3" trimmed at the top.... the bottom a pillars were never moved and the top ones were pushed out 1/4" on each side. A good friend of mine hooked me up with a new glass guy, that i didn't know, He has done most of winfield's cars as i understand and other known kustomizers. and the quote he gave me for the new windshield and the cut CAN'T BE BEAT!!!!! He's actually gonna do all the glass on the Cadillac......And yes the trunk will be peaked and pancaked, I promise it WON'T be cartoony and silly!!!!

Thanx for all the kind words guys!!!! :)

  10. Just a suggestion, you may want to go ahead and cut all the glass now, and make the metal fit the glass. Regardless, keep up the good work.

Are you sure those welds are gonna hold?:D HaHa I thought I'd take you back in time with that one. Damn Brotha, just when you think it can't get any better you pull this shit. I'm amazed at how far you've come in just a few years time. YOU ROCK! I'm still looking for a IB T shirt to strut around in the garage.

You make this stuff look way too eazy man!!

I have a suggestion for the rear!

Probably have to relocate the gas fill but youre probably already doing that.

59 cad rear grill, I think you can make it work.

Thanx for the info ... Had no idea!!!!:)

Thanx man!!!! the gas filler tube is already being relocated, the trunk is gonna be pancaked, to a much smaller lid and i love the 59 grille , but i really wanna make the front stock grille work, the size is gonna be about 1/2 the front one in height !!

    CONTINUITY!!!

How did I miss this thread?

    WOW!!!

Ian, what a talented craftsman and true artist you are!!!

Love the clean body mods and tasteful interior choices you have made.

The careful planning you have done in all aspects of the build are really paying off. And you are a man of action.

Love the BIG cars too. I have a 58 Lincoln.

Really want to see this beautiful car in the flesh someday.

    Thanks for sharing!

  24. Hey Ian, where did you buy your mustang tank? Tanks Inc have a pretty nice mustang type tank, but they're a lot cheaper to buy them at the mustang shops.

Be sure that the tank you are going to buy is made in Canada, instead of China.
The canadian tanks have better quality.
    Btw.nice progress,Ian.Keep it up!
