1961 Cadillac Grill Swap?

Has anybody ever done this or know about this? It's really the only piece on the car that I don't like or know what to do with. I would like to make it look less "modern" if you will? More 50's or earlier than 1960's.

 

Well, if ya cast it off, throw it in my direction My 62 would look better to me with a 61 grille

 

Grab some 3/8" round rod, build yourself some brackets and form your own "tube grille"...it's not that tuff...paint, powder coat or chrome when done...

I thought about that. Seems easy enough. And a buddy of mine has access to a nice powder coating set up at work. Thanks!

I actually thought about that too. I guess I was worried more about the support structure than the actual grill. I didn't know if there was something I could fit right in with minimal amount of fuss.

 

And Earl...I will probably be getting rid of the stock grill.
