1961 Chevy Biscayne! Original paint, Barn Find!! This Chevy Biscayne sedan was owned by a local area farmer here in Iowa. He drove this car up until 2 years ago or so and parked it until I bought it. I brought it back to my shop, put some gas in it, got a battery in, it started up and we did the video.The engine ran quiet with no smoke, knocks, or misses. The Chevy drove great down the road. I had it up as high as 45 mph doing the video. the gas guage was in op ( bad ground wire). I noticed the carb was leaking a bit and should be rebuilt. The wipers worked. The coolest thing I liked about the Chevy is the ORIGINAL paint and unmolested feel it has.It has a great look the way it is but if you wanted to take it to the next level cosmetically, you can see what ever body work will be needed. I pictured any spots I did see, (dent in lower left rear fender etc) The trunk and floor looks solid. It still has the original interior in it and it is in driver quality. This is a great candidate for a restoration or hot rod as it is very solid and orginal or you can leave it the way it is, clear coat it, and have a blast driving it while tinkering with it.This Chevy comes with a clean and clear Iowa title. I had a ton of head turns and people stopping to ask me about the car as i stopped to do the pictures. The petina on this Biscayne is to die for! I do not want to overcall this Barn find Biscayne or unndercall it as it is 53 years old. Let the video, pictures, and description tell the story.
