As far the as the engine goes were putting a 383 Chevy small block in it. Paint were probably leaving it the way it is with a few minor touch ups here and there. I bought some old school ET mags. But money is tight so we'll see where it ends up.

Thanks. My dads always loved wagons but I wasn't to sure about them, And when the opportunity came up to actually have a 61 wagon for $400, well we couldn't resist.
Man, looks like a nice start. Reminds me of my 62. I don't have it any more. That makes me sad. you do suck! But it's still a nice car.
thats great. wagons are awesome. I am starting a 58 yeoman this winter. drop the motor, trans in, those wheels, add some disc brakes. get her running and drive the tar out of her.
yah, we were thinking of doing that but we couldn't come up with the money. Were going to cut a square in the floor then just weld in some sheet metal. Its not the ideal way to go but it works.
Mine has sheet metal popriveted in place. The floorpans were a christmas gift from my wife. They have been in my garage for the last few years.
