I've had two of those sixes, don't like 'em. I'm sure if you're a genious you can get some power out of one, but a stock junkyard 302 will be a lot more fun!

  2. i would drop the tail or raise the nose , moons would look bitchin as well .. good luck in your decision ..

The thread (Falcons done right) has alot of great examples of falcons done in different styles. You can also check out fordsix.com.
Lots of good ideas and info there as well. the main thing is to build the car for what you what, not what others want...good luck with your bird!

Aside from the cowl scoop its not bad.I understand what your saying about the money thing ,but you can get a set of lowering blocks real cheap .The only reason i disagree with the drag car look for it is cuz of the stock powerplant.Im not putting you or your Falcon down but it should be able to back up the look.My Falcon isnt an record smasher by any means ,but i think it does alright for multi purpose street /strip/daily car .Enough about my beater ,your Falcon in my opinion (which is what you asked for ),is a cool cruiser /mild custom and inline 6's sound cool in my opinion .The moons might look cool if the car sat low especially in the back .Baby moons on painted steelies might look good also ...

  8. Eeep, looked great "before", All it needed was some of those saturn moon caps with some thin white or red line tyres....!

    Go back to that maybe!

  9. In my eyes any old Falcon needs to be slammed, cool car though!!!

  10. just get some wide whites. no "barely whites" please. And please, please remove that nautical star.

  11. I would make the lugnuts the same color as the wheels if you are going to leave them black. Then you wouldn't know right off which suspension/engine was there.

    Evil,
I suggest keeping the thin WW's....until you can get a set of wider ones. I'm partial to exposed chrome lugs (with no spider cap) and painted steelies. You might wanna look at a set of ribbed trim rings (with or without baby moons) later. I like the black and white combo you've got going there for the paint job. I would definately lower it a little in the rear, but that's just me...;)...otherwise, it looks really nice; just do what feels good to you!:D

The scoop needs to go. As for the spider webs, nautical star, rolling dice et.al, it's starting to look like you skinned a Mike Ness wanna be. Very "Kustom Kulture". I'd un-ass all that crap too.

Sometimes people get carried away with cheap ways to change a car just becasue they are bored with it........or want it to have more "attitude." I myself have held myself back in a few cases.

Your car looks best like this in my opinion. The Cragars also looked good. Its your car and if it puts a smile on your face thats all that matters.

    Hahahahaha!

Yeah, where'd the Cragars go? First thing I'd do would be to build a time machine to transport the car back from that exact day...

moon discs look good on almost everything. the b'ville look is always cool.
if you want to add color to a set of moon discs, i suggest you get them anodized if all you need is a solid color. if you do paint them use the highest quality paint you can find or eventually you will have a flaking mess.
whatever you do do it for yourself. not because one of us told you what to do.

OK lets give this a go shall we? Leveled, lowered, caps and got rid of the eyes. What do you think of that? Unlike others I like the stock trimmings. And why shave handles? They work use 'em!

Man, all these posts about round bodies is making me feel bad about my '64, haha.
    Not really.
I dig these little cars a lot!
I'm in need of new rear springs. Do you guys know of any good suppliers for them? Maybe a local spring shop would be easier.
I would rather just order them and not rip my car apart until I was ready to swap them.

Man, I think your Evil 61 looks good as is. Gloss black top, white body, black/red rims w/ chrome nuts, thin white side wall. That all looks real good. I would not run moons myself, but thats just me, and who really cares what others think. If they dont like it, F'm.
