I have these Mercury hood side spears that are in okay condition. Not show pieces, but decent for a driver. Also a tailgate insert I made a couple years ago. It is made to exactly the same dimensions as the originals. Not stamped perfectly, but a little more hammer and dolly work will make it pretty much so. To be welded into an original tailgate such as the one in the pic. That tailgate is not included. I am in way way deep into this project in time and money. Let's just say it seemed like a good idea at the time. If you want to make a Mercury clone this will help. The serial number plate is for reference from the 1961 truck the hood spears are from, and it's worthless to me, so if you want it, you can have it. If anyone wants it, I will package it up between a couple sheets of plywood, and take it to the local UPS store, weigh and measure it, and get a quote. Whatever the quote is, probably a couple hundred bucks cause it's oversize, that is what I will want for shipping, nothing more. You probably will not find another Mercury tailgate anywhere for a unibody truck, trust me on that one. Thanks for looking.
