Need advise on how to handle/sell a 1961 Oldsmobile F 85 wagon that my friend has at a local body shop. On behalf of my friend who was ripped off of 40 grand, I'm trying to recoup some of his loss.

The car is a factory air 4 door wagon that is at Saticoy Auto shop in Saticoy Ca. My friend (age 90) loaned 90K on a handshake to the owner, Adolfo and only received about 50K back. The shop was supposed restore the wagon for the balance.

The shop disassembled the car, partially primered the exterior, removed all trim and drivetrain then let it sit for a few years. "Adolfo won't pay back the money, so the car and parts were removed". We would like to find someone who wants a clear titled project car and desire to put the car back together. We have photos of all parts included and wondered if trying to sell the car here,

Classic Oldsmobile, BAT or Haggerty might draw more attention. Comments other than how someone can loan someone 90K on a handshake screwed up, (He is old school and trusts people) but something actually constructive. Thanks

I've included one 1961 -F85 wagon ACTUAL.JPG pictures of the car before the people at Saticoy Body Shop disassembled it and some of the current pictures. There are numerous other pictures upon request.

The market for these cars (Y-body) is not strong, and even less so if it's disassembled like this one.

At least make it a roller again so there's a chance someone interested could roll it onto a trailer or flatbed. I would stay local with your ads (fb marketplace, craigslist, local shows, etc.) as not many transport companies are willing to move a vehicle which can't even be rolled.

Might be worth a shot to post a for sale ad here?: https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums/
