I've been tied up with fall yard maintenance and getting ready for Thanksgiving so not much progress to show. I have been able to sneak in a few minutes here and there. It's kinda nice being at a point where there are small things to do.

I shot two coats of clear in the trunk to seal the trunk paint and installed the floor drains with some seam sealer.

I hung a few things on the engine. Grounds, Weiand water pump, t-stat, and transmission dipstick. Rounded up and painted a water pump pulley.

Nice, where did you get the carb gaskets?

Simply SBC eye candy, some get it....some dont!
I've gotten so "fumble fingered" it scares me when I see an open intake, even for a minute.

Thanks! Only a Cl*** Racer would have noticed that, lol. Felpro, here is a pic of the part number.

For those wondering... NHRA allows two carb gaskets in Stock Eliminator. We like to push every rule so we use two thick gaskets (heat isolators) to get a little more intake manifold ;)

I'm right there with you and I have hand tremors on top of it. I used the base gasket as a template to cut out a piece of cardboard. The gaskets and nuts are on loose to hold it in place. Also found a plastic plug for the distributor hole.
