    City: St. Louis

    State: Missouri
    Price: 42,000
    *SOLD*

1962 Chevy II Nova 400 Series 2-door Sedan. Complete build from the ground up. New floors, and new trunk sides and trunk floor drop offs. TCI Front clip with QA1 coilovers and Wilwood disc brakes. L78 375HP 396 from ’69 Chevelle with manual Tremec TKO 5-speed. Ansen bellhousing. Bullet Cam (aggressive). Sounds great, runs great and scares old ladies and sets off car alarms. Rear is a 10-bolt non-posi with Moser axles and new 3:08 gears. Drum brakes in the rear. Cruises 75mph at 2200 rpm and will pass anything but a gas station. Rear suspension is a bolt-in Ridetech triangulated 4-bar with Ridetech coilovers. Car has Alston Chassisworks Subframe conenctors as well. Exhaust is 3” oval that is completely Jet Hot coated from front to back with Spintech stainless mufflers. Engine has cast stainless exhaust manifolds as well. New gas tank, new driveshaft, you name it…new everything.

Interior is brand new PUI interior. Copy of 64 Interior. New carpet, new headliner. Classic Instrument direct fit gauges. Completely rewired with Classic Update Kit from American Auto Wire. Car was taken all the way to bare metal. Someone had put a quarter on the passenger side at some point so that work was examined and fixed where it needed it. Car was epoxied and all body work was completed and painted using PPG products. Car was originally white with a red interior from GM. Not this white and not this red. All new weatherstrip with original glass. I added the seat belts. I have the heater box just not installed. Got it in and the core started leaking. I fixed it but never reinstalled.

Powder coated Steel wheels with 66-67 SS Nova caps. Car drives amazing. Terrific really. Nicest hot rod I’ve ever owned. Super nice early Chevy II. Find a nicer one that’s been tastefully given the hotrod treatment. It’s low, about 2” all the way around with 25.5” tall tires. It’s still drivable and not all auto cross stuff. Handles awesome, stops good. I have all receipts a million pictures of the thing as it went together. Only reason I'm selling is I want an early prewar Chevy. 37 or 38 coupe. Would consider trades on 37-38 Chevy Coupes or Slantback Sedans. Would have to be something as close to original as possible. Maybe a tasetful streetrod. No projects and no bass boats. Prefer cash and will listen to reasonable offers. DM with questions. Clean and clear MO title. Fly in and drive it home. Dice ship knob not included.

BTT...Fly in, I'll pick you up at the airport and I'll take you to lunch. You can drive then decide. If you like it, drive it home if not I'll drop you off and you can fly home.

BTT…Fair amount of interest but no takers yet. I forgot to mention the Allston Chassisworks subframe connectors as well.

Thought I had it sold but buyer decided not what he wanted. Feel free to make an offer. Would consider trade for nice 37 or 38 Chevy Coupe.
