do a search for econoline lowering or just any threads about econolines and you will find that just about everybody wants to lower them also. not an easy thing to do without alot of issues. i have one myself and have searched for the last couple of years and havent came acrossed anybody who has just dropped it and been able to daily drive one without problems. if you do what seems like a simple flipping of the axles to the top of the springs instead of under, you will need to c notch the frame front and rear, possibly need to raise the wheel wells, deal with issues of bump steer, steering and shift linkage issues and even clearance of the motor cradle and tranny. big job. im still going to try and figure it out tho
