1962 Mercury Monterey

Does any one have a 352/390 Fe merc or ford ?? I was woundering What other peoples oil pressure is mine Is about 40#s at idel when its cold and when its hot at cruiseing speed It is about 38#s when hot. The Oil pressure Is about 12#s In drive stopped then it is about 38#s when cruiseing Is this normal ?? No noises motor is quiet PLEASE LET ME KNOW Thanks

 

yeah its normal. the pressure reading is picked up off the oil filter adapter. kind of a funky spot but just make sure you have the proper levels. my 390 will drop to about 18lbs at idle
