I dont know about a "tribute" but that is a mighty nice car! Could we get a good pic under the hood please?
What a great period piece...no tubs, no skinnies in front and steamrollers in back, no graphics, etc. A great looking car that could easily go back to 1968 and a Dog 'n Suds drive-in.
Nice condition for a Ct. car. Too many gee-gaws to be portrayed as some kind of race car tribute, though...in MY opinion.
1961 Bill (Grumpy) Jenkins and Dave Strickler in 1962 In 1963, they turned out in this Z-11 optioned Impala with a 2x4 427 & 4sp. I love the window sticker still on the LHR window above 602. 'Old Reliable' tuned by Bill Jenkins and driven by Dave Strickler .
Nice car, but it isn't white ,front end is too low and its got the wrong wheels. I thought a tribute was supposed to mimic the original, not just be the same year. Nice car though.
Peanut gallery has "tribute" confused with "clone", perhaps. Nice car. If owner says it's a tribute, it is. Look up "tribute"
Well, it DOES have A/S on the windshield. Although I don't believe Strick and Jiggs ran A/Stock with any 09 cars. Bill did run A/Stock with the Chevy II. I guess that's close enough.
