1962 Thunderbird.

    hey guys I just bought a 1962 thunderbird...supper clean 50K original surviver still on the bias plys...any thing I should know before hitting the open road? Of course new tires. My plan for this car is keep it mechanically stock and shave some trim and candy the top. thanks Kara
     
  2. Depends on how long it's been sitting. You should go through all the brakes, change the fluids, maybe even flush out the gas tank.

    cheque the line(s) ( anything that is rubber for cracks or damage )

    i would change the fluids bceuase of no telling at how long its been sitting in there ( oil, brake, anti-freeze, trans, etc .... ) but IMO
