Have you been to the Westville cruise in? Or maybe valpo? I hear they are both going strong this year
Great looking car! I had a 63 impala but it was a 283 3spd column shift. Drooling over your car enjoy the hell out of it!
I lucked out. He is one hell of a father. Very blessed to have him. He is also the owner of the chemical city coupe currently
I just saw this car at the local cruise in. It’s better in real life than the pics! The owner is a nice guy too.
I try to be a decent guy. And thank you for the compliment on the impala. Hopefully the chemical city coupe will be back on the road soon so we both can be there
Love the car and the stance! Would you mind posting what size your pie crust slicks are and how wide a rim are you running?
Haven't really done much but drive the car when I can. Swapped out the rear coils for some worn out ones to bring the back of the car down a couple inches and thats about it. Fighting a vibration right now too. Did find a wore out pilot bushing. Replaced it and the vibration is almost gone. Was 7nder it the other day checking stuff and noticed I could move the trans yoke some. I have another new yoke I'd like to swap out and see how it fits. The one in it currently is a billet yoke for a 1350 joint. The other one I have is a regular 32 spline yoke also for a 1350 joint.
Got the phone call that the 409 is repaired and ready to come back home. Rick johnson at custom auto Machine (owner of the "no sponsor" 62 pontiac Catalina nss car) repaired the engine and found the issues. Going to pick it up tomorrow
YIKES!!! It should be smooth as glass now!!! Man, that thing had to be shaking like a dog shittin' Peach Seed's!
Late to this thread, but my Dad bought a ‘63 4 door hardtop Impala with 327/300/Powerglide. It was dark red and gorgeous! I would run it up to 55+ mph in low to “blow out the carbon “ and that Vette wail was wonderful. Seeing a 409 was the high point of my day back then!
