This is a South Carolina car with no rust and very clean body. You can see the original spot welds from the factory on the body panels. I have plenty of pics of the exterior, interior and under carriage if you would like to see how clean the car is. This fastback is a true classic, easy driver with a moderate rumble of the exhaust that has a pleasing sound and turns heads. La Cucaracha air horn optional! This is a great driver with recent improvements including the steering gear box, center link, idler arm bushing and inner and outer tie rod end replacements. Also the main wiring harness has been replaced and wiring has been repaired so all lights and gauges work correctly and properly. Have receipts on these improvements. Rebuilt transmission in 2014. This Galaxie 500 is a two door hardtop model with a 352 Cu. In. engine and automatic transmission. The engine starts quickly and runs easily. Four barrel intake manifold with a 4-barrel carburetor. Belts and hoses are in good shape as is the battery. Distributor cap and spark plug wires are in new condition. The car has black rolled vinyl seats, front and rear and are in new condition. The door panels are in fair shape with some cracking and peeling, but overall decent condition. Black carpet is in good condition and is well fitted. Headliner is in very good condition. All interior bright work is in good condition but some small pits are starting. The dash surface does not show signs of wear and sports factory gauges of speedometer, fuel and temperature - all of which work and have been re calibrated. Trunk is in solid condition and has been sprayed with black paint. Black paint was was well done but there are some small dings and imperfections that are evident when positioning light over the area or being in the right place for viewing. All stainless and aluminum trim are in good condition. The chrome varies from shinny to shinny with small pits forming. Front and rear bumper are shinny with some small scratches.
