1963 Ford Fairlane Gasser “The Fugitive” This car started it’s life early on the dragstrip in the 1970’s. It has only 11,000 miles on the clock which we believe to be accurate due to the beautiful floor pans and sheetmetal on this car. This car is 100% rust free and the floor pans look new. Back in the day it was powered by a 427 chevy motor but has been most recently replace with a solid lifter, dome pistoned, double hump headed 283 chevy with a single plane manifold and a 750 holley on top. The transmission is a rebuilt Muncie 4 speed and has an original B body mopar Dana 60 out back with 4.10 gears. The body was painted the original Corinthian white and J Bird out of younstown area did all of the hand lettering. Car was dedicated to Oties automotive out of Akron Ohio which was a well known speed shop back in the 1960’s. The rearwheel wells have been slightly altered to accept larger tires. This car has been an absolute blast to drive and steals the show wherever it goes! It has been in Goodguys magazine numerous times, featured in the centerfold of Summit Racing’s catalog and my dad was even interviewed on the Steetscene TV show with the car! This car is no trailer queen either, it was built to drive! Just went on a 140 mile round trip to Thompson Gasser Reunion last weekend with no problems. I am listing this car for my dad because for some reason his Ipad will not post ads to the Hamb. His handle is 1lowbuckrodder. He hates to sell the car but he currently has too many and it is time to downsize a little bit. Asking $21,000 If you have serious interest call Don @ 330 seven 1 five – 9 six 7 three! Thanks for looking!! PS the pic of the motor shows 6x2's, this is an old pic it now has a single 4 barrel
