Hello. I have a 1963 Ford F100 I purchased when I was eight years old for one dollar. It has sat around for quite a few years and is in pretty rough shape. I am trying to rework the body and make it into a lowered pick up. [IMG]

As you can see the truck is in rough shape I've already picked up a spare bed and plan to pick it up front fenders soon.[IMG]
I would eventually like to put the truck on airbags. But my budget won't allow at this time. I'm going to put the rear axle over the springs. And notch the frame 4-6 inches to allow for airbags in the near future.

I'm not sure what to do with the front-end. I've been told to buy a drop axle for about $300. But I really like the idea of going with the independent front suspension since I plan to make this truck my daily driver. I'm looking into getting a 2003 ford crown Victoria IFS system. Dose anyone know if you can put airbags in the front suspension off the Crown Vic? Is the crown Victoria the best independent front suspension for your dollar? What brand of air suspension is the best bang for your buck? Does anyone have any suggestions for my truck? Anything and everything is welcome.[IMG] thanks.
