Technical 1963 OLDS 98 FUEL PUMP

    Has anyone had any luck finding a fuel pump with out the fuel bowl

    I'll take a wild guess and say it is a Rochester fuel pump similar to a big block Chev but with a different lever. What I am suggesting is that it may be possible to use a BBC pump if you swap the levers. If you compare the pumps side by side it should be obvious if this will work or not.

    Just curious why you don't want a fuel bowl. They're good for trapping extra dirt and rust on old cars.

  4. I put one in my Olds in 1974 and the only one available was the newer crimped style. I'd say shop around a bit.
