he had been dead for a while. But I did get to meet him at Sema about 25 years before I got to touch the mystery motor.

The Wayne Mason built dirt track 64 Chevelle ran the Mystery motor to several track championships here in the Omaha area, was initially denied entry to at least one Iowa venue as I recall even with G.M. do***entation that it indeed was an over-the-counter legal option, but track rules often dictated those counter H.P. options.
