1963 Thunderbird vs. Riviera video

Fun video. I like those 'Birds, but a Rivi is what I want. In the side view, the 'Bird sits up, looks static. The Riviera leans forward, looks like it's in motion.

 

I'd rather have an R-2 or R-3 Avanti with the 4spd trans

 

I love those old DuKane filmstrip projector/record players with the "beep" indicating when it was time to move to the next frame. My dad had one in his insurance business back in the early sixties.

Funny how when the Bird has even a smidgen more of this or that its a great thing. But when the Riv has more (especially horse power) the Bird is seen as "comparable"

Thanks for posting the vid ... these are fun to watch.

 

I love both cars. I obviously am partial to the Riv. But I like the interior of the T-bird better.
