1964 Cadillac Coupe De Ville project. This was a stock, running / driving car in 2015. It then went to a custom shop to have the trim and door handles “shaved”, airbag suspension installed, and a Chevy “LS” drivetrain installed.

The bodywork was completed and it was painted with a metallic black base coat. The original 429 engine and Turbo 400 transmission were then removed and discarded. The front lower control arms were also set up with airbag plates. Work stopped there and the shop went out of business…The car then went into storage where it laid outside for about 5 years. Within that time the hood, grill, fender skirts, and other some other miscellaneous parts were lost…

With that being said, what you see is what you get. I don’t have any other parts. This is a very solid California / Nevada / Arizona car with a good title and is worth fixing. The frame serial number and title match as they should (see photos). It’s an excellent start for a full custom build. The body is very straight and all the glass is good except the windshield. The power windows also work. All of the body “shaving” was done right with the trim holes being welded up (see photos). Drivers side front floor board has a couple rust holes and passengers side front floor board has been replaced. The car is very solid and clean underneath. Sitting outside took its toll on the base coat paint and engine bay area though. The paint is faded badly, chipped, scratched, and cracking.

The car has lowering coil springs in the rear and is sitting on wood blocks in the front (see photos) The tires hold air and the brakes work. It can be moved around easily.

Major parts that are missing are:

    Engine / transmission

    Hood

    Grill Fender skirts

    Door panels

    Lower rear seat

Sold AS-IS. Payment to be CASH in person or BANK WIRE TRANSFER only.
