My neighbour/friend reached out to me asking for help as they weren't sure where to turn. He recently lost his brother to cancer and his nephew (his brother's son) has decided to sell his dad's 1964 Corvette coupe. I offered to take a look at the car and said that I would strategically offer any assistance that I could. The car is in very nice (solid #2) condition. It has a low mile since rebuilt non-numbers matching stock appearing high hp 1965 327, 4 speed trans, power steering, power brakes, aluminum knock off wheels with radial tires, and is painted in the original silver pearl. The interior is black (vinyl I believe) and is also very nice. The car was repainted in 2001 and has held up very well. I took the car for a short drive and found that it drove very nicely and could be pretty much fully enjoyed as is. The family is asking $39,500 USD (firm). If interested, send me a conversation and I will exchange contact info with the family. View attachment 3842687
I figured at this price, the family would be beating would be HAMBer buyers off with lug wrenches! Piss the purists off...panel paint it, put in a 9" and a straight axle and make a gasser! Or enjoy the hell out of it as is.
