By the way where did you get the plasti-coat? Those clips can add up quickly.I think just counting the side trim on my 64 I was looking at about 80 bucks.
When I started my bodywork last summer I couldn't believe how rusted my clips were.

Thank you all for the motivation!
Muncie I got the plasti-dip at Harbor Freight! If you want the can i have, it is 3/4 full still, its yours for shipping, i dont think i have another use for it right now. The clips alone were about $100 at $2.00 a piece, plus the clips with the stud/nut! which i think were about $40.00. Ridiculous!!! But i didnt have any so i had to get them.

Working on the throttle linkage, I used a 69 Mustang Cable and a 69 Mustang throttle pedal. I also modified the windshield washer motor bracket and cut a square hole in it (lots of hand filing) to accept the other end of the cable. I got a stock 4V mustang carb base place piece for the cable end out by the carb. I also got the fatory style progressive linkage from Carls Ford Parts (temporarily held in place with screws). So far it is all looking good, I also got the pedal mounted to check for pedal travel and it looks good. enjoy.

The throttle cable was not at too bad of a bend, but I did move it to the front carb and relocated the back mounting part of the cable from the wiper motor bracket to the firewall. It works much better now and is a much smoother pull, Thanks Roy!

Mike, go for it. The CP sticker adds a lot of character. Building a 363 inch 302 stroker, with Brodix heads, backed by a top loader. I like the pie crust tires on your car, wonder if the come in 28 x 9?

Some work on the tail panel, i got the anodizing stripped an polished a few weeks ago. Tonight I got it taped and sprayed with self etching primer. Tomorrow I should be able to get it painted and the black striping done.
