The steering wheel nut has vanished.. I ordered a new one and will get yours back... That I found.... is an important piece! Lol I parked the falcon after the race and have not started working on the things I need yet, maybe this weekend!

Mike;no hurry on the steering wheel nut,the wagon is a LONG way from ready, just making conversation!!! I've got parts ordered for the fuel system, they should be here Monday or Tuesday! I haven't checked the clutch, pretty sure it is linkage related as it seemed fine on that last pass!!I found a hitch drop that may work for you, found it while looking for something else!! ROY.

I am upgrading my cooling system right now. I got an electric water pump, new cross flow radiator and am currently working on finding an electric fan that will fit in the 2 3/4 inches of space between the two. I wasnt having major problems cooling, but I didnt like the moroso electric water pump kit drive.

I got a new Z bar, that Roy helped me bend yesterday to fit my application. I would like to get some 8- 8.5 inch slicks, but I don't know if they will fit the stock wheel well, maybe with the right offset..

I had an artist do a drawing of my car from the HotRod Renunion...take a look.

I took the intake off and resealed it as it had a leak. I also adjusted the valves since it is a solid roller cam. New 3 core radiator installed, new electric waterpump, new electric fan, new air pan instead of aircleaner and new alternator mount system. I moved the overflow can to the drivers side wheel well so it is not taking up realestate in the engine compartment. Now i just need to get my new wider slicks/ rims, then I should be ready for the March Meet. Hopefully I can break into the 12's

Looks good Mike, I like the air pan idea too! 8.5 inch rim with 4 inch backspace should work. 8.5 or 9 inch is a good size slick, what size you thinking?....Al

Yes Roy I got the clutch linkage all figured out.. It seems pretty strong, I used that adjustable lower rod you gave me. I think I am going to try for the 8.5 slick on a steel 15x8 rim .. I think that will fit the wheel well, maybe a little inner wheel housing mAssage will be needed.. Thank you for the compliment 60s

The wheelhouse should be big enough to fit an 8 1/2 inch tire. I was able to fit a 10" tire in the stock wheel house with only rolling the outer lip.(I did have to move the leaf inboard but the wheel house should be wide enough)

Got the car running, took it for a drive...AWESOME...no more valve train noise...other than the solid lifters, drops into gear like nothin, no more fighting a half engaged clutch. I have been wanting a switch panel to mount my fuel pump, water pump and electric fan on... I was looking at all the parts houses, but could not find anything I liked or fit my application so I started with this, a 64 glove box door I had...
    ***then did this
    [IMG]
    ***separated the skin
    [IMG]
***cut out some aluminum to box it in and drilled holes for the switches and lights, taped it together
    [IMG]
    ***rivited everyting together
    [IMG]
    ***and test fit it
    [IMG]
***Now I just have to do a little wiring and decide how to paint it... I might do it the same to match the dash, since it is a dash piece... Also I have to install two mounting tabs to mount it to the floor

I'm a little late to this but what ever happened to the factory buckets and console? Did you sell them or are they for sale? Sorry for not reading the whole thread if this was already discussed but I saw the first page and the "replacement" seats and jumped here to ask. Thanks.
