OK Mike,Lake trip is over, nurse your hangover by working on that FALCON!!Time is running out!!!!!!!!

  3. Got the oil pan gasket changed today, hopefully that stops the leak I had. I forgot what a pain that is! Changed the oil and filter. I am trying some Brad Penn oil this time. Also got the new throttle cable installed and need to finish up the mount to the firewall.

On the bright side,at least it wasn't 90wt gear oil,and at least you didn't try to soak it up with your hair....lol

  6. New wheels and M&H front runners. I wanted them to look magnesium and at 1/4 the price. Also, the Cragars weigh 37 pounds each with the tires. The new wheels with tires weigh 24 pounds each....carry the 5...add the 2... That's 26 pounds total off the front end! Outstanding! Looks like your head mech doesn't want the S/S wheels to be removed though ....

    Good luck.

I think those wheels make it look like a composite of Brannan's Falcon and his Thunderbolt....Tough stuff!:)

    Hey fiveo,
What type of throttle cable did you go with.I have the lokar as well and it seems a little on the flimsy side.
    Thanks,
    Mark

  14. Muncie,
Here is the website for the company,
    Control cables
    http://store.controlcables.com/servlet/StoreFront

It's like a top fuel cable, super stout, with excellent connectors and mounting hardware . Mine cost $40.00. I gave them the dimensions over the phone, but you could send a drawing if needed.

  30. I had a couple of injection issues I made 4 passes. 1 ran crappy in the 14's, 1 nozzles clogged and it wouldn't get out if it's own way, 1 i aborted due to low tire pressure and a wobble in high gear and 1 kinda got it figured out went 13.02 at 106... I needed about two more to work my way to the mid 12's.. But I did get a wheel off the ground! Look close there's light! Ha
