Paco, Al and Eric thank you for the encouragement! I have been building from 9-midnight a couple days a week after my daughter goes to bed. I do some of the grinding and drilling during the day so I don't disturb everyone

I cut and tacked my z bar together. The holes where the ball pivots mount were tighter. I need to finish weld it, maybe you can help me with that?

Awesome job!!! I am so glad that you didn't go the "gasser" route, as I believe that there are far too many as it is. I am planning a '65 Comet in a similar B/FX style with a small block.

What is in this picture is my fuel line set up. I made a 3/8 aluminum fuel line from the pump to the fuel regulator. You can see the line coming in from the drivers side frame (through rubber grommets) into the fuel pressure regulator. I modified the pressure regulator bracket and mounted it through the fuel pump block off plate bolts. Then up to my fuel pressure gauge, into the fuel log to feed the carbs. I left short runs in two places for rubber hose. I got one of those fuel line beaders which makes the little lip on the aluminum line, to keep the hose/ clamp on. Pretty cool and expensive little tool!

Mike;looks good! One suggestion is that making the rubber fuel line connections so short does not give them much 'flex' and also a little tough to make up,NHRA allows 12 inches of rubber flex hose in the engine bay. JMO,ROY.

Got the rear seat divider almost done.. Need to work on all those speaker hole openings in the package tray next. Also I want to make some new mounts for my bucket seats and am looking for some ideas. The seats can only be an inch and a half or so high..

Yea I may bring it over to at least throw one or two in there to help take out the flex. I did have seat frames made but I'm not happy with them. I think I just figured out a new design though but I need to cut metal and I don't want to wake up the neighbors so I will wait. I just finished hooking up the fuel system and the back brake lines. Getting close to being able to stop!

Thanks Muncie!! Wayne, I got mine on eBay too. They need to be recovered eventually, but will work for now. Do you have a picture of the Crites brackets? All the ones I could find I still needed to modify my stock ones or sat the seat too high. I tried the dodge afx ones with the holes drilled in them, but they were also way too tall

Thanks Wayne, I see how they did it now. I probably would have gotten those if I did my research and saw they made them. But with the modified factory falcon one advantage is I can move the seat forward or backwards to suit my comfort. Once you strap the seat belts down, then try to reach the shifter some times a little adjustment is nice

Putting on the side trim, had to drill a couple holes in a patch panel the body shop filled in
    [IMG]
I dipped each of these little $2 clips in plasti cote so they have some rubber between them and the clip, it helps seal out water once they are installed and spaces the clip off the body just enough to snap the trim on
