Can anyone tell me what would be the biggest, tallest, strongest front coil spring I can stuff in a 1965 Comet Caliente . Will a Mustang big block/air spring work? Looking to get the front end up as high as I can by a spring change only. Not worried about ride. Car is stock small block now.
    Thanks in advance. Don

Don;I used 67 Mustang 390 springs in my 65 [stock V-8 now],they got the front end up,were a bit of work to get them in.Mustangs are loosely built on a Falcon/Comet Ch***is,so A LOT of parts interchange!National Parts Depot,or any major Mustang supplier will carry the springs!Keep an eye on your outer tie rod ends,it will put them almost topped out! ROY.

  3. Also keep your eye peeled for cracking around the upper a-arm mount holes with super-stiff springs....
