This morning we had to modify the air valve linkage to make it progressive. We found out pretty quickly that it takes very little throttle movement to RPM the motor with eight butterflies opening at the same time. Here's another video we just took getting another heat cycle into the motor-

We took it out for it's first drive earlier this week and it steers and tracks straight. So far it's turning out to be a pretty good driver car even with manual steering and manual brakes. The motor runs good and right now the limiter is set at 6500 because it bangs it at 6000.

It'll be out at the Goodguy's show this weekend here in Phoenix if anybody wants to take a closer look at it. Next weekend it'll be at the dragstrip so maybe I'll get some video of it-

I forgot to post up after taking the car to the track. It ended up running 11.80's consistantly thru the day. The next time it goes out there it'll have a little shorter tire in the back to raise the RPM at the top of the track and an operational line-lock. I'd guess the car should run 11.50's then. Not too bad for a car you can run around town and fill up at any gas pump using premium-
