    1965 El Camino
Body is straight, clean and without rust. P/S and Vintage Air, approx. 3000 miles since built. Very quick, reliable, runs cool and just a flat mean El (Hell) Camino, that’s a sleeper without a closer look.
    • 454 High Performance 438 HP, 8:75/1 Compression GM crate engine P/N12568774. Assembled with all new components, not a rebuild. High performance hydraulic roller cam, 3-2 barrel Holley carbs w/350 cfm center and 500 cfm front/back and progressive linkage. MSD ignition, coil, and wiring. Hedman headers w/3” collectors to 3” stainless steel head pipes, sprint car mufflers with 3” turndowns. Four core custom radiator w/dual temp controlled coiling fans set at 180 F.
    • Muncie M-21 4 speed trans w/ Hurst Comp Plus shifter, Macleod Industries flywheel, clutch and clutch plate.
    • Custom oversized dynamically balance driveshaft by Driveline Specialties with large Spicer heavy duty greaseless u-joints and trans safety loop.
    • GM 3:31/1 final drive 12 bolt rear, Strange Eng. Axles and Moser internal reinforced aluminum cover.
    • All new Hotchkiss front and rear suspension components: sway bars, trailing arms, shocks, fasteners, etc.
    • Wilwood front discs brakes, rotors, master cylinder, proportioning valve, plumbing, front line-loc and rebuilt rear drum assembly.
    • Complete new wiring, switches, lights, relays and circuit breakers. Analogue gauges w/factory tach.
    • Complete new interior including all upholstery, carpet, all glass with factory tint, 1965 Chevelle SS dash, 3-point harnesses, window felt, guilds, weatherstripping, 15” Corvette steering wheel, etc.
    • Powder coated custom steel wheels, 15x5 front w/165/15 M&H Racemaster Front Runner tires. Rear 15x8 wheels w/M&H 275/60/15 Racemaster Drag Radials.
Personal inspection is highly recommended to appreciate the drivetrain build on this El Camino. Additional photos and video description can be provided to a serious buyer. Cash or bank transfer only. Please contact Richard (760) 815-9891.
