Picked up the car today, got it home and the rear end out. Hopefully have it all cleaned , rebuilt and reinstalled by this weekend

This thread is great, building a 65 for my wife, not quite ready for paint booth yet. Love the other 65's shown here as well.

 

Mike's Father,BOB, and I punched out the old spring bushings and installed new ones yesterday afternoon! The old cheapy press sure makes life easier on a lot of projects!!! Plus,Bob and I discussed putting the four speed in the Cyclone,LUV IT!!!!!! ROY.

 

Got the rear end done and back in, still have to finish the brakes.

Mike;WOW,I don't think they looked that nice when they were new!!!We should of stuck some gears and a locker in that pumpkin before you painted it!!!! ROY.

Just finished this one up for my son. It has a 460 in it with a C6 and 9 inch rear axle. 4:56 gears but with an overdrive. (the last photo does not belong!!! that is an MG engine!!)

 

Black painted back in the cyclone flag, taping and q-tipping paint remover!

LIKE your car a lot man. I have 2 65 comets . this makes me want to get started on my 2dr htp car. where did you get your disc brake kit?

 

Just an ebay kit. Fit well and was around $600

Mike;call me about the T-10!! ROY.

 

Quarter windows, master cylinder, starter solenoid, stock firewall padding, tail light housings installed. Re wrapped the tail light wiring and hooked backed up.
