Here's some pics of the 65 I built for a freind. I moved the wheel opening forward 3" and I used a crites relocation kit for the mini tub.
My first attempt at scanning. Please let me know if these four Nova AWB pages come thru. This article is from 1966 issue of PHR. This vehicle is not even a year old. Note how the Nova born a Unibody and reconfigured to a full frame car. One wonders why a factory short wheel base Corvette full frame car was not used from the beginning. Note what appears to be a 10 inch wide Cragar wheel with NON stepped deep dish rim. What a Briliant look. Please comment.
even when comets, falcons, mustangs, are in bad shape they are really easy to repair, and work on. some mustang stuff does work, and what does not fit exact can easily be modified. the 2x3 tubing would be best(stronger than factory). tie the frame, and it will be better than new. sounds like this will be a super cool project.
just got the DVD in the mail yesterday and immediately watched it. It was great and very informative. Steve makes it look so easy. Now I REALLY got the itch to build another 65 Ford Falcon like I used to have and was stupid enough to sell. Of course in 1977 I didn't think of hanging on to the ex RAUNCHY race car. BT
bought a '64 1/2 Comet Cyclone off show room floor back in the day! Black on Black. drove it off a cliff in the 70's. want a new one really bad! pictures soon...cant scan when printer is out of ink...thats crazy but ...computers...
