1966 Nova Wagon (are we ever really done?)

    it had the plastic line to the old oil pressure gauge I removed. from a few other guys I talked with, they will only use the copper lines ... all new ferrules and copper line... may go buy some more... check the with another gauge this weekend... see what we come up with it

    hate to take the LT1 valve covers off... I didn't want to put the chrome Blueprint ones back on the engine... I did find these black finned covers on their website.. which come on their higher line crate engines ... Bought a black 14" air cleaner lid for now and a couple of new cleaner decals... will look for a black 14" finned lid... so far could only find ones that had Holley or Edelbrock cast in the cover..May need to look for old Cal Custom. far from done // lol

    was bored with the chrome air cleaner lid, bought a black lid , knurled black retainer, to hold it down... bought another set of black finned Blueprint valve covers... changing things up some... still need to address the t-stat cover.. 327 af.jpg

    A**** others, it was also installed on the 68 Z/28 302 engine with cross ram intake.

    Over the years I've seen them painted various colors, would look good painted black.

    image000000 (15).jpg Not much to report.. other than I went down the rabbit hole and bought a vintage 1978 Honda 50 Mini Trail to use at the races .. and have been fixing it up.. almost done, just tires& tubes to do. replace the headlight switch.. and got the correct gas cap .. good grief "squirrel !" lol Happy Holidays
