For sale is a 1967 dated Muncie M20 four speed transmission. This transmission has the later 1” cluster gear, and a 2.52:1 1st gear ratio. This transmission is in pretty good shape for something that is 48 years old. The info on the trans is as follows: Main Case- 3885010 Tail Housing- 3857584 Side Cover- 3884685 Partial VIN- 7U32038 This transmission was taken completely apart, everything cleaned in a parts washer, and then re-assembled with new gaskets, seals, and tail housing bushing. This transmission also has a new bearing retainer due to the original being worn. There are no chipped ,or broken, gear teeth, nor are there any cracks ,or stripped threads, anywhere else on the transmission. The engagement teeth are in pretty good shape. There is a little wear, but the gears are still very serviceable. All this transmission needs is to be filled with oil, and it would be ready to go.
