It's taken me a lot longer than I thought to finish this project I started nearly 10 yrs ago. I purchased the car for $700.00( 67 Post Coupe), at that time there was a f body spindle on the drivers side with a block of wood for a spring and the A body spindle on the passengers side with a few coils cut off the stock spring. At the time... The guy I bought the car from only wanted what he had in "new" parts and the 400 block and heads. The car and any other misc. parts were basically Free. It came with the orginal 326 and 2 speed auto and also a 400CID Pontiac and a pontiacTH400 Trans. The rear seat was there but needed to be redone. There were 2 sets of front seats, neither of them correct. 1 set of old recaro's and a set of mopar swivel bucket seats that I thought were Van seats LOL. Still have them both. The Box of new parts were mainly all Erson... a mild cam, lifters, pushrods,1.5 roller tip comp cams rockers, timing chain set, melling oil pump, gasket and ring set( that were never used) etc.
It took me several years to save money to buy parts for the 400 ys Block have the heads rebuilt and the Engine Assembled. I sent the #13 Heads to SD Performance for porting and rebuilding with 1 pc stainless valves. He threw in 10-15 CFM more than I asked just because I never called and hassled him when he was moving his shop. Dave Bisschop is a great porter and a awsome dude. I picked up a Canton Road Race oil pan with tripple trap doors from SD also.......
