1968 Super Stock Barracuda and Darts

Thanks for the video. I have a bunch of pics from The MoPar Nationals since it’s beginning, including what was probably the original Hemi Shootout before it became an event at the US Nationals. I will try to convert those to digital sometime. I also have Tons of pics from Edgewater and the US Nationals from the late 70s on that I need to transfer.

 

Ronnie Sox told me one time that his 68 Barracuda was his favorite car to drive. The car just worked.

 

This Dart is considered to be the most original example left. Found in 1977 by Tom Hoover and later owned by Mancini. Never cut up, paint was applied in the 70s. Mancini intended to race it, installed the Dana but never campaigned it, decided it was too original so he just maintained it over the years.

I've seen the article and pictures of Charlie's Dart being picked up at the 'factory' for decades, but never those Barracuda pics. What's the story?
