My son and I came across this one a couple of years ago on CL. Grandpa owned it since new.
Was a 350" sbc, RS with the fold a way headlights, 2 barrel, single exhaust and3 speed on the column, which sold us on the car. Totally unmolested.

Grandpa p***ed away and the kids said the ****** was frozen up, and the key was stuck in the
    ignition, so couldn't be moved.

After making the deal, opened the hood, adjusted the shift levers back into the neutral gate
and that fixed the transmission problem. On the '69's, they had an anti-theft feature that
meant you had to put the car in reverse before the key would come out. Knowing that,
we fixed the stuck key in about 5 seconds.

Some old photos, of the interior, before and after using Magic Eraser on the vinyl for about
two hours of clean up time.

I would have maybe been tempted to just showed them...unless they were jerks.

Those little SBC cars are nice to get ahold of. They haven't been raced and wrecked. The VINs only identify 6 or 8 cylinder, not cubic inches so they make great big block transplant cars. With no console or options that would make a great Nickey or Yenko clone with a 427 and 4 speed.

Great score, not to mention it looks like an RS car so that makes it even better.

A white 69 Camaro with no vinyl roof, RS with hideaway headlights, bucket seats and a 350 with a standard transmission on Craigslist after 2020?!? Holy smokes!! Goes to show you there are still quite a few cars hidden away out there.

  6. Yes,,,deals are still out there,,,go look at my thread where I purchased my 73 Dart this week .
A very very nice original car with very low miles for a reasonable price .

True, I scored two 1963 Grand Prix’s and an extra 389 for a reasonable price late last year. I should probably do a build thread on one of them because neither one had run for 20-40 years.
I think the reason these finds are still popping up is because these cars had style and character when they were built and people knew it. If we’re still around in 20 to 30 years we won’t be finding dozens of Ford Taurus or Chevy Lumina’s hiding in garages under tarps.

Killer score! What are your plans?

Tried that once. He got mad cause he felt I had questioned his abilities. He got really mad when I drove it away less than 2 minutes after acquiring the ***le.
