1969 Z/28 Time to repaint back to original.

I got super lucky, an original and near perfect Endura bumper, off of this car.

 

A little progress, Gl*** guy was a no-show today to install windshield and back gl***. Got the front bumper on and the p***enger rollup window.

 

Blah blah blah….
Headliner next week, then stripes, then burnout pictures….

 

The blue Camaro with side pipes is missing some Craig powerplay speakers in the back window! Thanks for sharing the build thread, the '69 Zs are hard to beat...

 

Stripes occurring. This is all PPG single stage enamel. No clear.
And if anyone needs the paint code for California blue and yellow plates I have it.

And, the show is over. Time to drive it again!

 

Vinyl top and no white lettered tires, both unusual for a Z. I like them both. Looks real good.

 

Nicely done! The Endura bumper really ties it all together up front. Sharp Z!

 

Thanks, vinyl tops were pretty common. And if Kelsey Tire would ever make another batch of the correct Goodyear bias plies, I’d have them. Been on back order for a year. Can’t get myself to buy the reproduction Firestones.
