Story goes it was built in 1971 and went into storage in 1974. That's the story the widow gave. Was pulled out last Friday and got it's first bath in 52 years. The rear wheels are off and just leaning against the drums. My photo skills are on par with my metal fab skills.

My buddy back in high school was always talking about painting his 55 compe***ion orange. He didn’t I don’t remember what candy red he used but the orange would have been cool.
If it is like the thousands of tri-five cars that have had numerous 3/4 speed transmission swaps over the years it might just have a couple different brand of coffee can sheetmetal filling in the opening under that shifter boot.
