my 1966 El Camino has a 1992 5.0 and 700r4 in it. the speed sensor/adapter (sends an electronic signal to computer to lock up torque converter and still has the mechanical speedo cable to run the stock 66 speedo. Anyway; the existing one is worn out and I can not find any brand name or parts number on it to be able to purchase a replacement. see attachments for view of the part I want to replace
welcome to the HAMB from MN not exactly a qualifying intro, hope you can get someone with the info to reply. you may want to edit this post and later as the question. also the search tools are fairly good and may help
Welcome.......this area is for introductions only. This should be posted in one of the other areas. But.....since I'm here....those were usually used on commercial type trucks. Probably not going to find a new replacement. It would be easier and cheaper to just wire the lockup thru the 4th gear switch like everyone else does when these type conversions are done. Really no need to have the ECM involved.
