    Howdy

    I have an opportunity to get a 5 speed from a 92 ranger, had a 4 cyl and was a 2wd.

Was this a T-5? Does it have the same bolt pattern to connect to an old flatty bellhousing? Ive heard some of the mustang manuals close to bolt up, so I figured its worth asking.

    Any help is appreciated.

I had a 93 5-speed ranger.it was not a t-5...it was a Mazda ******.....Ford owns quite a bit of mazda(or used too)....I was thinking the same as you until I found out when the clutch blew.

I think the shifter comes out too far forward in the case to be useful, doesn't it?

It's not a T-5, Brush is right. It's a Mazda ****** with an integral bellhousing. I just put a clutch slave in my 91 2.3 5speed Ranger shop truck, so I know of what I speak.
