This guy was suposed to buy my bike, said he sent the deposit but it never came. Then this guy blames his postman for it not arriving yet. After two weeks of waiting I gave up on him, It never came.
He has been banned till ALL of his dealings are taken care of... If you need his email address, PM me.
Looks like he burned me. I sent him $ for parts that have never came. He offered to send back my money, but it's not happening and he's not answering his phone.
FWIW you can add me to the list of people who quit believing this guys storys long ago. he claimed to had send a deposit out, then the usual excuses, etc. usual string of BS storys.
OK, we need to put together a list of folks that have been taken by this guy. It's well over 5 or 6 at this point. Here's the people I know: - 4woody (out $175) --- FIXED - sawzall (out $200) --- FIXED - trey (out a bunch of air suspension parts) - Rocky (out tires) --- FIXED - Unclescooby (out 6/2 intake and 6 carbs) - Bigdog928 (out a fwe air suspension parts) These are people that are actually out money or parts at this point. I don't really care if the guy promised to buy something but didn't - we will deal with those issues later. If you are one of the people listed above, please make sure I listed you correctly. If you have been taken care of, please report that here. Finally, if you are having problems with this x-hamber and you are not on the list, please let me know.
I just got a Paypal from him for $100 of the $175 he owed me. The Paypal originated from an account with a woman's name, email, and street address attached. Don't know who she is or if it is appropriate to post it here.
Ruben is a nieghbor of mine. I haven't seen his car around for a few weeks, he might be having some sort of trouble. I don't have his phone #. He seems like a nice guy, I hope he's all right. CP
in all seriousness, maybe you should stop and check on him. it could help to resolve some of these issues. when i paypal'd him, it had a females name. dont know if its a girlfriend or what, but i didnt feel it was appropriate to post it here. id sure like to see all of this mess resolved. trey
Trey, I don't really know Ruben. I met him from the HAMB when I asked about air ride. He came by and showed me how he did his. He offered to help too. I see one of his rides at a shop around the corner from here, I'll go by today and see what I can find out. Hope I can help, CP
So I'll comment now...I too, bought some air ride stuff from him..Paypaled him the money thn got this story about how it had been mailed, going on 2 weeks he ***ured me it was on it's way...Well, It didn't show up like it was supposed to, kept emailing him, he kept ***uring me it was on the way..It finally shipped wednesday, Got it today...or part of it..I paid him for six valves, line and fittings. I got 4 valves, an ***load of line, and a few fittings..( not enough to do what he said he'd send me to do..) SO, $250 later, I have 4 valves, a ****load of line and a couple of fittings...Nice to take a ****ing..After the whole shipping thing, I was totally expecting it... Cody
I bought 4 whitewalls from him a month or so ago. He was hard to get ahold of because I think he said he does the graveyard shift, coupla kids, wife, etc. Nice enough guy, cool chopped shoebox project and a bagged mid sixties ford wagon. Hopefully he'll set it right. There's alot of us in the greater LA area.

Pay pal sent me a notice my account had been credited $140 from our boy 1Evil51 a week or so ago. I didn't get my tires but I got my $$ back from him.
I sent my parts about a month ago and he said he was sending an air ride unit out too. After two weeks, I hadn't seen anything. And six days after he said he shipped my stuff, I wrote him again and he said he had refused my package and called FEDEX and had his rerouted to him. I thought it was strange that FEDEX would still have a package after six days but I checked with the post office and my package was still sitting there according to them. I sent a request for return but haven't seen anything. That was a week ago and about a month since I sent my stuff. I don't get it. Seemed like a nice guy but I've gotten some PM's from several other people who aren't on the list that got empty promises but aren't out any money or product. Not sure what's going on here. Hope the guy is okay but this sure wasn't a way to make friends. Hopefully it all gets straightened out. This is an honor system and I'd hate to see that get ruined.
A while back he offered to by something from me and said that he had sent payment but I never got it. After a week or so I sent another PM and he told me he didnt know why I had not recieved it yet. Eventually I just gave up on the deal.
reuben just refunded my money.. unfortunately after paypal takes there "cut" the 200 I sent, I was refunded only the amount of 187... I guess I'll add the 13.00 to the cost of my education.. I got a terse email from him yesterday saying that I'd get my remaining $75 back after he got his wheels back. He dropped off wheels (that were different than what I'd agreed to buy) at a friend's business in LA. My friend told me what they were and I told 1Evil they were wrong and I didn't want them. They've been sitting at my friend's place ever since waiting for 1evil to pick them up. That's 2+ weeks now and counting...
He bought a painted box off of me through here.... EVERYTHING went fine. He payed, I sent it out. No problems. He did send me an email asking when it was going to get there...I checked the tracking # and found that it was at his local post office....I told him, he went and got it and thanked me for it. Thats why I put tracking #'s on things. Simple as that. Anyhow.... I just thought I would ad that I had NO PROBLEMS with this guy. He was cool during our transaction. Thanks.. Tingler
