This is going from bad to worse for me. I sent Reuben my parts on January 26th and recieved nothing back. He said he sent my stuff FEDEX but then had it rerouted to him after the HAMB dragged his name through the mud. He said he refused my package at the post office. He didn't. He just didn't pick it up. The post office waits 30 days before returning undelivered packages to the sender. I sent a return request form to get it back sooner as I had made another deal with somebody else on this Crower U-Fab 6x2 intake and carbs I had sent him. Today recieved a copy of his signature for my parts on February 19th at 9:48 AM. No word from Reuben ever. No parts from Reuben ever. I just e-mailed him as I have full do***ention including our original deal, all correspondence from him and his signature on the confirmation of delivery. He made a deal, changed his mind, never sent parts and then took my parts three weeks later without so much as a word to me. $600 worth of parts. I'm awaiting a response right now. If he is worried about his name being "dragged through the mud by the HAMB", this ain't the way to handle it.

Reuben e-mailed me back right away today to say that he does indeed have my stuff but he's out of town. He said his wife signed for them by mistake while he was gone and that he'd get them back to me first thing on Monday.
He's made good with most everyone that I've seen so hopefully we can all get it behind us soon. My hope is that he's a good guy that just got in over his head for while. I'll let ya know next week.

The monday promise turned into a thursday promise and thursday has now come and gone. I sent him a note saying I need shipping confirmation by tomorrow or I'm filing a complaint with the FBI. They handle interstate transactions and internet fraud. I talked to the police there and the Attorney General there and they said the FBI handles this. Hopefully, he'll just give us our stuff back and be done but I've been saying that and listening to excuses for two months now. I guess Crestliner is still hangin out like us too. Anybody else besides Crestliner, Trey and Me?

I sent him (his wife) 125.00 for the axle and didn't here anything. after about 3 weeks sent a email. He stated he wouldn't sell anything to HAMBers and my refund was on the way and he had a tracking #. After asking for it no reply. Sent another email about a week ago and he replied he was sending refund. I'm with unclescooby, if its not here soon its time to contact the feds.

I"ve got a phone number for him too thanks to Rocky. The latest string of stories I"ve gotten is that he was sending the parts monday, then thursday and then after threatening to use the FBI, he told me friday that his wife shipped the parts back to me on friday and that he would have tracking "ASAP" and has not returned any e-mails since despite my repeated requests for the tracking. I don't believe the parts have been sent because he has told me about ten different things in the last two months and the result is that he still has all my parts. I'm filing a report with the FBI tonight too. Yes, Trey, that is the right website to do it. There is a definite pattern here of Internet fraud and interstate theft that the FBI is interested in.

I just wrote Reuben and told him I am filing tonight and that I was surprised that he would not write me back when he knew it was coming to this. He complained about the HAMB "dragging his name through the mud" but Trey, Crestliner, and myself have done nothing to wrong him and he has taken advantage of each of us for months with repeated empty promises.
You guys should do the same. The FBI will act for us. We're not getting anywhere on our own. It's free to file.

They will ask you if there are other "victims" and I linked to this post to show the answer to that. My FBI complaint number is I05032100009929 if you wanna add that to your complaints. I recieved an e-mail from Reuben about five minutes after I filed mine saying that he still does not have the tracking number for his shipment and to please wait until morning. I told him it was too late for me but I would contact the FBI when I got the tracking and recieved my parts. I also informed him that you (Trey and Crestliner) were doing the same so he should contact you right away too.

People amaze me... I'm not sure how the HAMB drug his name through the mud...

Technically, didn't he drag his own name through the mud by not coming through with what he promised? It's one thing if it's just one person, but 5 or 6???? Where there is smoke, there is fire.

i got this from him last night...

No, cash has been tight. It's hard for me to send the money, when you have the parts for me to sell. I could send you the balance of parts owed.

should i go ahead and file a complaint? i love it when people blame their problems on everyone else. i have been more than patient with this guy, and he says its the hamb who is giving him a bad name. ********.

I guess it's a question of how long you are willing to wait. I got fed up with six weeks of empty promises and still to this minute don't have any tracking information for a package I have been told on three seperate dates has "already been sent". It's internet fraud and it's straight up theft until resolution is found. The FBI is a better route to go because it is not just legal action but also criminal. A judgement won't' do you any good from small claims court if he doesn't have the money and they can't enforce the judgement. You can't bleed a turnip. If I'm not mistaken, the FBI can put him in jail if he doesn't make it right. There is a pattern here of repeat offense. It's do***ented. It's not our word against his. The longer we wait, the more other people can get taken. Look how many people here got left hanging because no one realized it and spoke up about the problems with him until there were nearly ten people involved.

I filed my claim and told him that and he sent me a tracking number the next morning. It was no good for me either. The reason it was no good is that he just shipped it yesterday afternoon and it wasn't even in the system yet. Crestliner, if you check yours again, it might be good now. He told me that his wife sent it on Thursday and that he was just waiting on the tracking. I was done waiting by Sunday and filed the claim. He didn't really send it until yesterday at noon. I still don't know that the contents of the package are correct and am not taking any action to pursue or cancel my claim until I know that. I don't think anybody really wants the FBI investigating them so I think he probably really is sending this stuff out now. I think it just had to come to this. I told him that both you guys were filing claims with the FBI this week too so he knows. Keep me posted and I'll do the same. My package is due here on the 25th.
