I luv a muscle car build period correct. Hell I just love drag racing!!!! But to make you feel somwhat better it is a limited cl*** (30) and will not run any pre 64 cars

im with ya..... i like em period correct or factory correct, myself...... what might be cool is making an event that is pre 68cars(67and earlier).... that would keep out the chevells, and camaros and stuff....

Oooooh, took the bait quick !!! Yea, already had the motor so the inj system was a good find. Don't know if I can finish the truck in time but it'll be fun building it anyway. Will the Rebelrat pond jumper be ready?

 

I say make it a pre 48 race to keep out those pesky tri 5's

No - but getting closer with the Thames. I'm hoping he will have it for Day of the Drags. I was hoping to talk you out of that injection system. It would look good on my truck.

We are well underway to putting her back together, just a few more weeks of fab and we should be done. Running a tunnel ram with twins this go round vs. the quadquad setup. Finishing the cage, engine, ch***is tweaks, and I'll have a hood this time! Can't wait to get it down the track!

Have some general Q's
-I'm ***uming this is a closed, dedicated event to this group only for the day, Limited to cars that are part of the group (no public drop in's that are not there for this race)
Asking because I've been part of "group" event races before at different tracks, and it was a Cluster F*** mixture of all kinds of stuff, and we were given our own staging lane, but that was it...

-What's the schedule for the day? Gates, tech, time trials, eliminations, etc...
Wanna get there as early as possible Sat...

Okay guys and gals heres the skinny

Friday afternoon

Gates will open at 5pm for the out of towners rolling in to camp and for the ones that want to do alittle test and tune before the big race Saturday. We will ask that everyone be respectful and shut down the nights activites by 11ish pm

Saturday

Gates will open at 9am

Tech will begin at 9am also

Test and tune runs will run from 10am-12

Drivers meeting at 12:45 at the staging lanes

First round eliminations will begin at 1:15pm.


After that its just gonna be all out fun and really laid back.

 

Gonna be laid back for many... but you need to bulk up cause your gonna run your **** off. Anything ya need just holler and I'm there for ya and

I created an event on Facebook, and sent out invitations from my list. Two Guys Garage confirmed they would attend. We will wait and see. Might get a little TV coverage.
