I call this my first attempt cause after a huderd or so attempts I finally got it far enough to print. I followed joe deert's tutorial with the exception of the line art...My scanner took a shit so I did my line art in Corel and moved it over to photoshop.. Well let the flogging commence
Be careful, Photoshop is more addicting then the HAMB. Keep up the good work and try to save everything that you do. Its kool going back to see how much you have improved. What software are you using? I'm using Photostudio 5. Happy Trails, Mick
photoshop 5.5 is a good starting point. adobe improved some of the brush capabilities, and some other things in Photoshop 7 and up. I am using Photoshop CS and it does the job. I truly don't want anything after because CS2 and CS3 have huge memory management issues (Run slow, and use a lot of room) Keep up the good work.
OK So now i'm really counting the days til Wayland. Wait till they see the Plymouth and the Frazer commin down the street.
Lil John...not bad...but I'd loose the reflection as it detracts from the illustration. Just put it on the same background; maybe add some of the gradation color at the bottom as well. The passenger side window is straight across, but the door line above it is curved...I'd match that curve with the glass. You might try a soft drop-shadow to separate it from the page a bit. I also hope you are saving your work in layers! Once you flatten and save, you're screwed. I've been working with Photoshop since version 3 (or 4); I'm now up to CS2....hope to NOT buy anymore versions! Patrick McLoad
