The roadster looks really good. A bit too low for a hot rod in my opinion but I love the rest. Welcome

  19. I'll will tell you one thing, you do some nice, well thought out, neat work. I'll complement you on that. I will definitely be following the build of your little roadster. It looks like it's on the way to being a real show stopper if you continue on the route you've laid out so far.

How about a 327 with a 283 crank? Which destrokes it to a 301. Very common in the 60's.

I might be able to help. My dad has kept dang near every engine and component. He encountered in his racing career.

  27. I can see a nice Merc flathead in there with Edelbrock or Edmond heads and a dual carb Fenton intake, Beehive oil filter some chrome highlights here and there, be real bitchin. Don't go overboard but don't cut the rod short either. You've got too much work in it to go only halfway. You might want to go with velocity stacks on the carbs to get some height contrast.

    How about Hilborn injectors?

  29. They are a bear to run on the street, not impossible just not worth the headaches. Then again, I'm not up on any streetable improvements that might have been made for streetability.

  30. nice build, welcome to the HAMB
